And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.
Isaiah 9:1

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

We are not saying that Jesus was a man that became God.

Humanity stands and fights on many battlefields: Sometimes victorious and sometimes vanquished. The greatest battlefield, where victory seems so often elusive and yet so necessary, is the battlefield of our inner being.

It is in our inner being, where our Mighty God says He is able to do immeasurably more…
…Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

He is Mighty God enough to…
