If you are looking to get connected at HOPE Church, then our HOPEgatherings are a great first step! These mid-sized community groups (8-35 people) meet weekly. Think of a small church experience within a large church community. Each group is unique, but the core experience is the same – spiritual growth in the context of community. Highly relational, Biblical, and a great way to connect with other sojourners of the faith. Jump in at any time!  HOPEgatherings meet at various times throughout the week.

Sunday Morning Opportunities

Book of Romans (open to all adults): The most important idea in the Bible is how a Holy God can get a sinful man into Heaven and not compromise who He is. Romans tell us just that! It sits as Master of the House before all of Paul's writings. It is the Bible in miniature. It is the most important singular document ever penned by man and only inspiration could make it so. In our study in Romans we will look at Paul's unfolding logic and incisive reasoning as to the divinity and holiness of the Christian gospel. When this book has been understood reformation and new life follow shortly. Romans is set at just the perfect pace for any Christian who wants to understand the most central book in the Bible.  Sundays at 9am starting January 13th in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Pastor Patrick and Gerald Muizelaar.

Book of Mark (open to all adults): The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’s journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship. In this 11-part series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship? Sunday mornings at 10:30am starting January 13th in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Pastor Keith and Larry Vobr.

Financial Peace University (open to all adults): This class consists of a nine-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey. It will incorporate small group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. Please visit Financial Peace University to register for the class. Cost is approximately $90/per couple and includes resources.  Sunday mornings at 10:30am starting on March 17th in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Kyle Piersky and Maria Privrasky.

Wednesday Night Opportunities

Wellness Wednesdays (open to all adults): Come and enjoy a time of meditating on God’s word while focusing on key stretching exercises to help promote healthy living. Wednesdays at 6:30pm at The Rock. Starts January 9th and is led by Anna Simmers and Amanda Wheeler.

The Armor of God (women’s study): All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.  But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.  Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Adult Ministry Center starting January 9th.  Led by Megan Rostad and Lizzy Hauck.

Philippians (open to all adults):  Matt Chandler, Teaching Pastor of The Village Church in Dallas, walks us through this most intimate of all Paul's letters and paints a beautiful picture of what it is to be a mature Christian. Wednesday nights at 6:30pm starting January 9th in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Pastor Patrick and Josh McSparron.

1 & 2 Samuel (open to all adults): King David: Heart for God, Human Frailties, Risk-Taking Leader, Grace Dependent. We will read every verse in of the 55 chapters of 1 and 2 Samuel. We’ll encounter the powerful prayer of Hanna that starts a chain of events including birth of a prophet son (Samuel), Raiders of the Lost Ark, the cry for a King, naturally qualified but corrupted King Saul, spiritually anointed and obedient King David, David’s reliance on grace and mercy, and the birth of the Psalms. Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Adult Ministry Center. Starting January 9th and is led by Pastor Paul and Chris Zygarlicke

Growth Track (open to all adults):  At HOPE we believe that a fully devoted follower of Christ will equally focus on four key areas for spiritual maturity: Worship, Grow, Give, Go. This four week series will focus on each area every Wednesday at 6:30pm. We encourage everyone at HOPE to go through Growth Track!

Opportunities During the Week

Coffee Break (Women’s Tuesday morning Coffee Break): Join us for fellowship, worship, study and prayer.   The Seamless Bible study covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments. Thursdays Mornings in the Adult Ministry Center at 9:30am (note new time) for fellowship with a time of worship at 10am. Starts January 8th.  Led by Cheryl Stauffenecker.

What is Love (women’s study): The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.  Monday mornings at 9:30am at HOPE Church in the Adult Ministry Center starting January 28th.  Childcare is available. Led by Liz Rasmussen and Jenny Bochenski.

Bible Study Fellowship (women’s study) on Thursday nights at 7pm.  Join other women from our community as we study Joshua to Solomon, God's united people entered and flourished in the promised land. Beginning with Israel's entrance into Canaan under the leadership of Joshua, People of the Promised Land I and II chart the ups and downs of the nation of Israel. People of the Promised Land I covers the united kingdom of Israel, from Joshua to Solomon.  We will study the books of Joshua, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1-11 and overviews of Psalms and Proverbs.
