(more being added)
If you are looking to get connected at HOPE Church, then our HOPEgatherings are a great first step! These mid-sized community groups (8-35 people) meet weekly. Think of a small church experience within a large church community. Each group is unique, but the core experience is the same – spiritual growth in the context of community. Highly relational, Biblical, and a great way to connect with other sojourners of the faith. Jump in at any time! HOPEgatherings meet at various times throughout the week.
Summer small groups (various times of the week)
Summer small groups will start the week of June 9th. Gather together with other people from HOPE to explore the passage we will be looking at every Sunday during our worship services (Psalms). Each group will have discussion questions based on the sermon. Groups will be meeting at various times of the week. Feel free to check out the list (regularly updated) and get involved! Jump in with a group at any time.
Wednesdays at Noon (location TBD) - Led by Pastor Patrick
Sunday Morning Opportunities Summer 2019
The Trinity (open to all adults): This HOPEgathering will spend time exploring the Doctrine of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). This HOPEGathering will examine how the doctrine arises from Scripture itself. It will also explore how trinitarian doctrine relates to believers in everyday life; and how God's 'being' relates to our 'being' in culture and life. This HOPEgathering meets Sundays at 10:30am in the Adult Ministry Center (room 3) starting June 9th. Led by Jerry King and Larry Vobr.
Financial Peace University (open to all adults): This class consists of a nine-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey. It will incorporate small group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. Please visit Financial Peace University to register for the class. Cost is approximately $90/per couple and includes resources. Sunday mornings at 10:30am starting on March 17th in the Adult Ministry Center. Led by Kyle Piersky and Maria Privrasky.
Wednesday Night Opportunities Summer 2019
Growth Track (open to all adults): At HOPE we believe that a fully devoted follower of Christ will equally focus on four key areas for spiritual maturity: Worship, Grow, Give, Go. This four week series will focus on each area every Wednesday at 6:30pm. We encourage everyone at HOPE to go through Growth Track!
Opportunities During the Week
Book Club - The summer 2019 Book Club will be reading Egypt’s Sister by Angela Hunt starting on May 22nd. The book is a fictional account of characters who lived during the lost years between the Old and New Testament; However, the books are historically correct for the time. This group meets at 1 pm on Wednesdays in the Great Hall at HOPE.
What is Love (women’s study): The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus. Monday mornings at 9:30am at HOPE Church in the Adult Ministry Center starting January 28th. Childcare is available. Led by Liz Rasmussen and Jenny Bochenski.
Bible Study Fellowship (women’s study) on Tuesdays nights at 7pm starting in the September of 2019. Join other women from our community as we study God’s Word together!
