If you are looking to get connected at HOPE Church, then our HOPEgatherings are a great first step! These mid-sized community groups (8-35 people) meet weekly. Think of a small church experience within a large church community. Each group is unique, but the core experience is the same – spiritual growth in the context of community. Highly relational, Biblical, and a great way to connect with other sojourners of the faith. Jump in at any time!  HOPEgatherings meet at various times throughout the week.

Sunday Morning Opportunities

Book of Hebrews (open to all adults): The letter of Hebrews was written to an early Christian church as an encouragement in the faith. This church had embraced Christ but struggled in their devotion because some of them were facing persecution, some loved ones were suffering, friends had walked away from the faith, and normal temptation and doubt had both crept in. Does this church sound like yours?  J.D. Greear, the lead pastor at The Summit Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, teaches this ten part series through the book of Hebrews called Christ is Better. Sundays at 9am in the Adult Ministry Center. Meets September 16 – November 11.  Led by Pastor Patrick

Financial Peace University (open to all adults): This class consists of a nine-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey. It will incorporate small group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. Cost is approximately $90/per couple and includes resources.  Sunday mornings at 10:30am starting on September 16 in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Jared and Erica Wiegandt. To register for Financial Peace University please click here.

Book of Judges (open to all adults): The book of Judges cracks a window into depths of the human soul. Watch a nation struggle with its identity and relationship to its God. Heroes and heroines arise, who seem to have the potential to save Israel. But in the end, each proves to be a broken savior that cannot deliver.  In this series, pastor and author J.D. Greear wades into the book of Judges to shine a light onto the muddy waters of human rebellion. The stories and truths within are not just archaic tales with no relevance for us today. Rather, J.D. works through each chapter unpacking the truth of God’s grace in the midst of human wickedness, and shows how only the divine can redeem the fallen.  Sunday mornings at 10:30am starting September 16 in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Pastor Keith and Larry Vobr.

Wednesday Night Opportunities

Wellness Wednesdays (open to all adults): Come and enjoy a time of meditating on God’s word while focusing on key stretching exercises to help promote healthy living. Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. Meets September 19– December 5  Led by Anna Simmers, Amanda Pryor and Amanda Wheeler.

Colossians (open to all adults): In this video series Pastor Louie Giglio will take us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus. What we believe about Him influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships to our attitude toward sin. Now alive in Christ, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world.  Wednesday nights at 6:30pm starting November 7– December 5 in the Adult Ministry Center.  Led by Pastor Patrick

Biblical Prayers:  Two of Jesus’s disciples actually wanted to “pray” down fire on some enemies of Jesus. Jesus didn’t rebuke the notion of fire, but the reason. That’s because Jesus taught and showed his followers the power and reality of prayer. We will answer several questions on prayer (i.e. why pray, how to, who to, what to) using great people of prayer, reading and poking through their prayers in the Bible. Anyone and everyone can pray and begin experiencing God through a life of prayer. Join us. November 7th - Dec 5th in the Adult Ministry Center. Led by Pastor Paul and Chris Zygarlicke.

Growth Track (open to all adults):  At HOPE we believe that a fully devoted follower of Christ will equally focus on four key areas for spiritual maturity: Worship, Grow, Give, Go. This four week series will focus on each area every Wednesday at 6:30pm beginning October 3. We encourage everyone at HOPE to go through Growth Track!

Opportunities During the Week

Coffee Break (Women’s Tuesday Morning Coffee Break): Join us for fellowship, worship, study and prayer. This will be a Beth Moore Study on the prophecy portion of Daniel. The group will also have an additional study (yet to be determined) available.  Tuesday Mornings in the Adult Ministry Center at 9:30am for fellowship with a time of worship starting at 10am.  Starts September 11.  Led by Cheryl Stauffenecker and Connie Osowski

Proven (Women’s Study) Too many of us walk through life feeling as if we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. And thankfully, we don't have to be.

In this 8-session study, Jennie Allen walks through key passages in the Book of John to demonstrate how only Jesus is enough. We don't have to prove anything because Jesus has already proven everything. Discover how our thirsty hearts can only be quenched by the Living Water.

Monday mornings at 9:30am at HOPE Church in the Adult Ministry Center
